 oc Lilac, life-long horticulturist, has specialized in lilacs for more than 20 years. He sold lilacs for many years at the world-famous Highland Park in Rochester, NY, the Lilac Capital of the World. There, he observed customer reaction to over 500 varieties and planted favorites in his 15-acre nursery for study and sales.

 eatured in magazines such as People, Places and Plants (Early summer, '06) and, most recently, Better Homes and Gardens (May, '08), Doc has become the man to turn to when it comes to lilacs. Some of his best lilacs grace the estate of Martha Stewart and were shown on her TV show (May, '07). Martha Stewart's own variety of lilac will be available from Doc in Spring, 2009. Listed here are some of his hundreds of varieties to embellish your gardens. The rare, unusual, or hard-to-propagate will be seen as slightly more expensive.
